Our goal for this site is to provide a useful tool to Salem Bar Association members and the public.

The Salem Bar Association through its membership seeks to foster a professional approach to the practice of law.  We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of professional conduct and civility in our dealings with the legal community, the public and each other.

What We Do

The Salem Bar Association sponsors, coordinates and supports a number of events and activities throughtout the year:

• Educational Seminars
  
  
• Law Day Event
  
  
• Volunteer our services in the Lawyer for the Day programthat is run by the Essex County Bar Association and provides legal assistamce to low income litigants at the Essex County Probate Court in Salem
  
  
• Conciliate civil cases weekly at the Salem District Court 
  
  
• Social Events
  
  
• Mentor Law Students and New Attorneys

Dues is only $35.00 per year and includes 8 free Lunchtime Seminars! Lunch is provided free.

We offer a Mentor Program as well as opportunities to get involved in our Volunteer and Conciliation Programs.
